Pesos to Dollars is built by Eight Two Studio. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We collect minimal data. The app uses:
- PostHog — for anonymous product analytics. Events contain no personally identifiable information.
- RevenueCat — for subscription status and purchase verification via your App Store or Google Play receipt.
- Local on-device storage — for cached exchange rates, recent conversions, trip data, language preference, and onboarding state. This data never leaves your device.
Payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google and are not accessible to us.
3. What we do not collect
- No user accounts
- No names or email addresses unless you contact support directly
- No precise location
- We do not sell your data
- We do not use app data for advertising
4. Third-party services
The app integrates with the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
- PostHog — analytics
- RevenueCat — subscriptions
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payments and distribution
- Exchange rate provider — live rate data (no user data is sent)
- Google Analytics — for website analytics. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser information, referring pages, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this information to improve the website and understand marketing performance.
5. Website cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand website traffic and usage. These tools help us see which pages are visited, how visitors find the site, and how the site is used. Where required, we will ask for consent before using non-essential analytics cookies.
