Pesos to Dollars is built by Eight Two Studio. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. What we collect
We collect minimal data. The app uses:
- PostHog — for anonymous product analytics. Events contain no personally identifiable information.
- RevenueCat — for subscription status and purchase verification via your Apple App Store receipt.
- Local on-device storage — for cached exchange rates, recent conversions, trip data, language preference, and onboarding state. This data never leaves your device.
Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and are not accessible to us.
3. What we do not collect
- No user accounts
- No names or email addresses unless you contact support directly
- No precise location
- We do not sell your data
- We do not use your data for advertising
4. Third-party services
The app integrates with the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
- PostHog — analytics
- RevenueCat — subscriptions
- Apple App Store — payments and distribution
- Exchange rate provider — live rate data (no user data is sent)
5. Data retention
Analytics events may be retained by PostHog for product improvement. RevenueCat retains purchase-related records as needed for subscription handling. Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
6. Your rights
You may contact us with privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests. Because the app does not create accounts and stores most data locally, there may be limited personal data we can identify directly.
